A WAR CRY FOR THE ANXIOUS

For people who hate drag they sure can put on a show. I know you saw the Nazi Salute. Twice. Once to the front and once to the back. Did it scare you? Good. It was suppose to. You are feeling exactly as you are intended to. They want you to see their hate and validate it with fear. They want you to think they are just as important as they think they are. But the bolder they get the wiser we become.

We are hard working people with common sense and decency. We know how these pigs got fat. They steal food off our plates and leave us with crumbs. They lie to us and say our neighbors, our teachers, and our cashiers are our problem. That hate we feel isn’t for the greedy assholes who make it impossible to own a home but for the neighbor who also cannot afford to live.

Look how comfortable Elon Musk’s mom was telling the American people to not worry about affording simple luxuries like a trip to the movies. A Billionaire got on TV and demanded you have kids because her son will need cogs to keep his machine going. Fuck that and fuck them.

Money is real because we say so. The work force exists because it is us who shows up. We out number them 330,000 to 1. THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY THOUSAND TO ONE. Wipe those fucking tears. Pull yourself together and remember what was also implied at the inauguration. They are not the majority. If they were they wouldn’t have had Elon get so familiar with the computers in Pennsylvania. We run this shit and we will not comply.

Trump said there will be only two genders. You can either be a woman or man. I say fuck him. What the fuck? Since when did that weirdo start making more sense than science? He cannot erase the human experience. He is not who we look to for these answers. Literally nobody asked him to validate us. I spent such a long time searching for answers about who I was and what made me different. Finding out that I was nonbinary helped me realize what my missing piece was. What did he think was gonna happen when he declared nonbinary people and trans people weren’t real? Did they think the binary fairy was going to come and magically make us not want to identify as what we are. I am here just as as the non binary and trans people who existed before me. They’re going to have to crack me open and pry the queer out of my chest. This is not a choice and even if it was- it should be one I get to make. No man or law will ever take or erase how I feel and what I am.

Queers have been through this before. Between 1981 and 1990, 100,777 people in the United States died from AIDS. Gay men suffering the most. Once the CDC identified male homosexuality as a risk factor doctors and government programs halted studies. Our community was told they deserved to die and it was God who punished them. Aids was the equivalent of leprosy and it was the lesbians who came to save the day and became nurses and caretakers for the dying gays. In our darkest hour we remained by each others side. I encourage you to do the same now.

No matter what the orange man says you exist, I exist, we exist. Non-binary people exist. Trans people have been around forever and will exist in every timeline. Women are more educated than ever before and they will fight back. Black youth are refusing to be brutalized anymore. Vets who have been fed anti-nazi propaganda our entire life are standing up and saying fuck no. The undocumented people did not vote for trump. If you are white use your privilege and throw your bodies into ICE agents. Obstruct their paths. Do not make the oppressors job EASIER. WE ALL MUST SURVIVE. WE CAN NOT TAKE THIS SHIT LYING DOWN.

I know you are scared but that doesn’t mean we just lay down and die. They do not get to take our joy. They do not get to take our will to live. They do not get to do this to us. We must resist. We have an obligation to live a good life and if they refuse to give it to us then we must take it.

Things we need to do now as a collective:

• All of us need to wear masks. If we make it normal to be unidentifiable we will be able to start organizing better. The same thing with clothes to wear to a protest. Get black or gray hoodies, masks, sunglasses (THIS WILL PROTECT YOUR EYES) and the same color jeans. Hoodies up, all tattoos hidden, masks on, and move as one at protest. Let’s get organized. If they can not differentiate us it will make their job harder. That is our new goal. Make liFE Harder.

• White people show up. Use your bodies as human shields. White men with all that pent up aggression this is what you’ve been training for. Create walls of death around protestors. Get the fuck out the pit and in front of your comrades. Throw elbows and mosh back. Get your friends and bring them along. Move as one. It’s time to punch nazis and you’re the best candidates to do it.

• Trans and gay kids deserve a good life. We cannot let them march through this uncertainty without us. We must live, we must be the elders we did not have because they were stolen from us. Now is not the time to hide who you are. REFUSE TO HIDE. DO NOT COMPLY. Show up with your loud hair and your piercings. Show up with your rainbow pin and your cool tattoos. Become armed, learn how to defend yourself and how to treat an open wound. We have always existed whether some loser with a bad tan regards us as humans or not. Pride was the first riot and even then it was self defense. We did it then we can do it now. Stand up and fight.

• Start learning how to treat wounds. How to create a splint. How to treat a gunshot. When you learn teach others to include your immediate family and tell them to teach at least five people. Separately if you are healthy and fit find five friends who are interested in being emergency help. Buy a gurney online. Get a 100 pound dummy and practice running with four people holding each side of the gurney on a track. Practice running on the same foot and eventually on sidewalks. Start learning how to tip one another off when a dip is on the road or in your way. Find a rhythm with one another and learn how to carry and interchange between the 6 of you. Put heavier weight. Find other people in your community who are just as interested as you guys are and then teach them. Find people who are willing to move wounded friends to emergency medical help and facilities. Find people who are able to move and get to those facilities. Make rapid response teams.

• Learn about your location. Buy maps and then figure out the best way to move from city to city without a car and with a car. Learn which roads connect to where and utilize land markers like huge buildings and graffiti points. Invest in a compass and learn how to read a map and navigate land.

• Never stop talking about what’s happening. Never stop informing people. Never turn your back or choose your battles. The battles have chosen us and now more than ever people need to understand there are consequences to being a nazi. Show up to town hall meetings. Start looking up coalitions and programs that help your neighborhoods and your cities.

• If you are in a red state coordinate with friends in blue states. Find ways to help collect contraception and abortion pills in your area. Help administer aid to young women and girls at school and help find comprehensive information about reproductive rights. Help spread the word. Never stop talking about it. Radicalize everybody to the left and right of you.

• You don’t want to throw a punch find someone who does and then get them to the front. Report ICE raids and trucks in each city you see. Create neighborhood watches that you can build to be reliable. Learn or advocate for the creation of programs where children have access to food during the summer and after school programs. If you see something say something. Put money into the hands of the American people. Small businesses are preferable. Delete amazon. Start going to different jobs like Walmart and teach or speak about unions and the importance of them.

• You are not allowed to let these evil lizards out live you.

I know that you are scared with what is happening in the world and I know its easy to feel hopeless. Organize even though the future is uncertain. We don’t have a choice. Get up and find hope. Fight even if you’re scared. FIGHT SCARED. Crowd Fund. Don’t become numb. Don’t stop giving a fuck. We are alive and it matters. We are Americans. And we know what we need to do next. Fight.
